Spring and early summer are my favorite time in the vineyards. The vines are full of life, vibrantly green, and changing rapidly. Without a care for the previous season the vines push out into new directions, eager to bear a new crop – it’s a nearly fresh beginning to a new vintage. Nature is perfectly built to reset and start anew. I am not sure about you, but I long for the same.
Do you love spring cleaning or at least the idea of it? Taking control of your spaces, freshening things up, and decluttering your home. Just the idea of it is rejuvenating in some way, and I wish that I could do the same with my very cluttered head. The last few seasons have worn on us and likely left many of us a bit tired and weary. I long for some ways to quiet the noise and feel refreshed.
So, I am curious, what helps you feel refreshed? Is it a relaxing vacation or a new routine? Maybe an exercise or a new hobby? I believe it can really be a myriad of things and different means work for each of us. Personally, anything that requires my full attention and quiets the millions of thoughts running through my head for just a moment, can really help my soul feel refreshed. Even a few deep breaths or shared laughter with friends can offer an oasis. It doesn’t need to be complicated. In fact, the things that can offer the most restoration are those things we can include in our lives regularly.
I encourage you to find what brings you refreshment. And I hope in some way that we can offer you some of those opportunities. Whether it is some relaxing time in our gardens or enjoying some laughter and wine with friends, our hope is that we can bring you a simple moment – a moment that refreshes you!
