What shining qualities do you bring to your role at Harney Lane?
As a Hospitality Operations Manager, my role is to encourage our team to positively influence everyone we encounter. With a hospitality background specializing in weddings, hotels, wineries, and retail, I think I carry a lot of knowledge in different aspects of the customer journey. I enjoy taking my past experience and using it to create a memorable experience for all of the customers that come through our doors at Harney Lane.
How do you light the path for others?
Personally, and professionally, I try and ground myself in the fact that I am another vessel for this company. I am not above bringing the same service and helping hand that our staff does on a daily basis. I always say, “everyone’s job is everyone’s job” and it takes a team to meet our goals and accomplish our tasks. I am a part of this team and will work as such. I truly do love it.
In your life, which lady is lighting your path?
Of course, I am going to say my mother. If anyone truly knows me, they know I always talk about the type of woman my mother is. She is by far the strongest woman I have ever met; she has not only worked in a male-dominated field, but she was a leader in one. She is the first person I call for everything, and she is a wonderful human, mother, and grandmother.
How can women influence a brighter future for all?
I think anyone working hard, chasing dreams, and being fierce, all while doing so with grace, will set the momentum for a bright future. I also think Coco Chanel says it best – “A girl should be two things: who and what she wants.”
What brings you sunshine?
Hiking is my solitude. Even on some of my hardest days, the moment I hit a trail, I feel absolute peace.
How do you add sparkle to a dull moment?
Truthfully, my friends and my team do this better. In a dull moment, we feed off each other and one of us will shout out something ridiculous to make us all laugh. This is usually done by quoting a movie or some sort of TikTok, just to elicit giggles.
Who lights up your life?
My nieces. I have four nieces who literally could not have more different personalities and it has been amazing to watch them all develop. I am more than excited to watch them grow into amazing kids, teens, and adults.
