What shining qualities do you bring to your role at Harney Lane?
I am honored to hold the title of Leading Lab at Harney Lane. Some consider me a farm dog, while others consider me just a pretty face. I love going to work with my dad and spending time checking vineyards, but I always make sure to take a few naps along the way. I think I am a great hunter of squirrels, skunks, and anything else that doesn’t scare me.
How do you light the path for others?
I believe I light the path for those around me by offering a furendly face wherever I go. I don’t complain, judge, or mistreat anyone. I consider everyone human on the team a friend of mine (especially Tom, the UPS driver, who always brought me treats).
In your life, which lady is lighting your path?
My mom, Jorja, and my sister, Kirsten, are my favorite ladies. But when it comes down to it, I’m just a Dad’s girl. Can’t help it.
What brings you sunshine?
Checking vineyards with Dad, hunting squirrels, or eating leftovers on the ground from my parents. I love being a winery dog because every day is a new adventure. I am never stuck at home waiting for my family to come home, I go to work just like them.
How do you add sparkle to a dull moment?
I love to make all the humans smile. I greet everyone that comes to the tasting room and I let them pet me. Sometimes they talk to me in a funny voice, but you know, it comes with the job.
Who lights up your life?
My Dad, Kyle, is really my best friend. I love when he helps me into the back of the pickup truck, takes me to work with him, and rough houses with me. He even drives me to my chiropractor appointments. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere but by his side.
Which Harney Lane wine do you reach for in your shining moments?
Being a canine, the sober life was chosen for me. That’s ok, though, because there are always plenty of treats for me at the ranch and even in the tasting room. Sometimes when I’m feeling fancy, my parents let me eat my treats out of a wine glass.
