WINE SPECIFIC-CONDITIONS

Legal Requirements

You or any recipients must be 21 years of age, or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Harney Lane Winery. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Harney Lane Winery are not for resale and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Orders are by credit card only when placed online. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Minimum Purchase

There is no minimum purchase required.

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to all states withing the contiguous US except AL, AR, DE, KY, MS, OK, PA, UT, VT.

Shipping Costs

UPS Ground is Harney Lane Winery’s carrier of choice. Ground shipping is provided by UPS Ground at current market rates. *Note – If the customer selects UPS Air as his or her carrier, the customer pays all shipping charges, regardless of their wine club membership or purchase amount.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity, so we always advise caution when requesting to ship in extreme weather and will also make recommendations for safe shipping windows. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: summer heat and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Harney Lane Winery is not responsible for wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment, although we will do our best to ship wine safely. Harney Lane Winery is not liable to replace damaged items, however, we encourage recipients to contact us immediately if there are any issues with a wine shipment upon receipt. Once your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine is transferred to the purchaser.

Returns & Cancellations

We are happy to replace or refund wine that is damaged or flawed, however, we otherwise cannot legally accept returns of alcoholic beverages. If you have received a damaged or flawed bottle, please contact info@harneylane.com so that we may assist you. During extreme hot or cold weather conditions, Harney Lane Winery may hold packages or recommend an alternate shipping option to ensure wine is not damaged. If you opt to ship during extreme weather conditions, Harney Lane Winery is not liable for damaged packages.

Non-wine merchandise returns can be made, with a receipt present or proof of purchase, for account credit or a full refund within 30 days, based on the condition of the item. Items in poor or used condition are not eligible for return. However, items that sustain damage outside of the buyer’s control are eligible for exchange.

Cash refunds will not be provided on orders that were originally paid by credit card.

Please contact our tasting room or email info@harneylane.com with any questions or return requests.
