Wine Sales + Policy
You or any recipients must be 21 years of age or older to order or receive alcoholic beverages. Wines purchased from Harney Lane Winery are not for resale and are for personal consumption only.
By placing an order on this website, you are authorizing Harney Lane Winery to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Harney Lane Winery to the purchaser at the warehouse and state it is shipped from.
Prop 65 Warning
Drinking distilled spirits, beer, coolers, wine and other alcoholic beverages may increase cancer risk, and, during pregnancy, can cause birth defects. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/alcohol.
Shipping + Delivery
Signature Required
Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (21 years of age or older). Carriers cannot leave packages at the door. We recommend shipping to a business address to ensure someone is available to sign.
Authorized States
We ship to most states in accordance with individual state laws. Please contact us for the most current list of restricted states.
Shipping Costs
Ground shipping is provided by UPS Ground at current market rates. If you select UPS Air, you are responsible for all shipping charges regardless of membership status.
Weather & Wine Condition
Wine is a perishable commodity. It does not like extremes of temperature: summer heat and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment.
Weather Holds
During extreme hot or cold weather conditions, Harney Lane Winery may place a “Weather Hold” on your order and delay shipment until temperatures are safe.
Liability
If you request shipment during extreme weather against our recommendation, Harney Lane Winery is not liable for wine damaged by weather conditions. Once the wine is picked up by the common carrier, responsibility for the wine transfers to the purchaser.
Returns, Cancellations + Re-Shipping
Flawed Wine
If you receive a bottle that is damaged or corked (flawed), please contact info@harneylane.com immediately so we may assist you with a replacement or credit.
General Returns
Due to legal restrictions, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages for reasons other than product defect.
Merchandise
Non-wine merchandise may be returned for account credit or refund within 30 days if accompanied by a receipt and in new condition.
Failed Deliveries
If a shipment is returned to the winery due to three failed delivery attempts or an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the package.
