The kids are out of school and summer is officially here in Lodi! To get you prepared for the pool parties, al fresco dinners on the patio and all of the traditional summer to-dos your calendar is packed with, we’ve put together a list of our “Harney Lane Summertime Essentials.”
At the top of the list -our two ‘poolside’ wines- the newly released 2012 Albarino and 2012 Dry Rose. Both wines are best served chilled… perfect for the warm summer days heading our way!
To keep your wines chilled, we recommend the Corkcicle. We brought this nifty little invention into the tasting room last summer and had a hard time keeping them in stock. They’re awesome. It’s your bottle’s own little ice pack that conveniently fits right inside the bottle!
Chances are, you’ll be outside enjoying your own personal Wine:30, so you’ll need a good, go-to, shatterproof vessel. Enter the govino ‘go anywhere’ glass! These things are fantastic! They appear to be a nice little stemless glass, however they are made of a food-safe, BPA free, polymer, which reflects the wines qualities much like crystal, believe it or not!
We are also recommending our little Harney Lane cheese boards. Perfect for a poolside nosh or to stow in your picnic basket. At $9.95 each, they’re a steal.
