Using our Home Ranch Chardonnay
Recipe courtesy of Keith and Jackie (@supermancooks)
Originating in Florence, the Negroni is an Italian staple. It is a traditional bitter cocktail, with just a pinch of sweetness from the orange. It is traditionally masculine and mysterious, but once again we’ve added our own Harney Lane twist. Served in beautiful coupe glasses and creamy Chardonnay, our version of Negroni is both refreshing and striking. When you are looking to impress family and friends this holiday season, skip the Aperol Spritz and pour up a Negroni, Harney-style. It’s sure to be the cocktail of the season!
What You’ll Need:
4 oz Home Ranch Chardonnay
2 oz Campari Liquor
2 oz Hendricks Gin
2 oz Dry Vermouth
Orange Garnish
How to Make It:
In a cocktail mixer add large ice cubes (do not use crushed or it will dilute the drink).
Pour 2 oz of Chardonnay into two coupe glasses.
Add gin, Campari, and vermouth to the cocktail shaker and stir for one minute.
Strain evenly into the glass with the wine.
Garnish with a dried orange slice and orange zest.
