It was a magical evening under the stars, this past Saturday night. Our family welcomed eighty of our Wine:30 Club Members and their guests to our fourth annual ‘Dinner with the Family’. These folks were the lucky ones…our dinner sold out in a record 2 hours! It has definitely become the event not to miss! Chef Warren Ito created an amazing menu paired beautifully with our wines. The tablescape was stunning with grapes picked freshly from the surrounding vineyards, lemons from the estate gardens and a plethora of candlelight. Mother Nature provided a stunning full moon and the ideal breeze.
Chef Warren’s menu included:
2014 Albarino- Summer Seafood Salad- ceviche of scallop with marinated shrimp, golden papaya, citrus and jicama
2012 Lizzy James Old Vine Zinfandel- Slow Roasted Pork- fresh corn saute, acorn squash, zin-plum gastrique
2006 Petite Sirah (special Library feature)- Flanken Beef Roulade- roasted garlic and mushrooms duxelle, sweet potato puree
Lizzy James Old Vine Zinfandel Dessert Wine- Baked Golden Bear Ranch Peaches with port-fig sauce and mascarpone cream
